	Lauren Kitts is a professional sculptor with 25 years of experience. She lives and works in Auckland, New Zealand. She has attended over 20 sculpture symposiums , has taught sculpture, and does commissioned work on a regular basis. Lauren's work is held in collections around the world .
	Her professional background includes: A Bachelor of Fine Arts, major in Sculpture from the University of California at Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz, California, USA. Invited artist to Sculpture Symposium in Japan. Artists in Residence at Hawkes Bay Polytechnic and Wairarapa Arts Centre. Participation in Stone Carving Symposia in Auckland, Matamata, New Plymouth and Wellington for over 10 years. Numerous public and private commissions. Numerous exhibitions in the United States and New Zealand. First Place for Sculpture in the 1997 Lincoln Green Art Awards. Works owned in private collections in Germany, Sweden, Japan, USA, England, Australia, and New Zealand.
